I have iTunes as my primary media player on my Sony VAIO desktop with Windows XP Media Center as the OS and Pioneer's DVR-110D DVD burner drive.
When trying to burn any songs from my iTunes library including my purchased songs, I get the error message 'Disc Burner or Software not found'. Having checked the Edit/Preferences/Advanced/Burning tab, iTunes fails to recognize any CD burner ('No supported disc Burners found').
However, Windows Media Player recognizes both my optical drives (DVD-RW & DVD-ROM) and I can burn MP3 songs using my Pioneer DVD-RW burner. Interestingly enough, when I stick any music CD into either of my CD-drives, both the drives are recognized within iTunes (under Devices) and I'm always prompted to if I want to import the tracks from the CD into iTunes library.
Apple's tech support is not much help in this regard. They have suggested me to tweak registry entries, which I did, however, to no avail.
Any help by you expersts out there would be greatly appreciated.
